Construct Concrete Pads for HVAC Maintenance

The Fort Wayne VA Medical Center requires the construction of concrete pads to support existing building electrical and HVAC maintenance. Specifically, one pad is needed behind Building #8, with slope for water flow to an existing drainage pipe. Additionally, one maintenance pad will be constructed in front of Buildings T-4, T-5, and T-6. All concrete pads will be 6 inches thick and constructed using rebar. Powder-coated aluminum railings, including a gate for maintenance access, will be installed around the pads at Buildings T-4, T-5, and T-6. Flashing will be added between the concrete and the buildings to prevent water buildup. The concrete will be formed to flow to two preset drains. All work is to be completed at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System Campus located at 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. The project has a performance period of 60 calendar days from the contractor's receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
