Lewis and Homer Diversion Rebuild
Trout Unlimited
Trout Unlimited (TU) requires construction services for the Lewis and Homer Diversion Rebuild project, a significant river restoration and riparian improvement initiative. The project involves replacing two existing irrigation push-up dams with a single rock ramp, stabilizing a large outside streambank, and replacing two aging headgates. This collaborative effort, involving private landowners, NRCS, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, and US Fish and Wildlife Service, aims to enhance aquatic and riparian habitats, mitigate streambank erosion, improve flood resilience, address fish passage concerns, and increase irrigation efficiency. The construction is scheduled to take place from September 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026, with all in-stream activities to be completed within this period. Staging of materials may commence prior to the in-stream construction timeframe. Contractors must submit a comprehensive proposal including a cover sheet, declarations, schedule of items, response form, and bid bond.
