This solicitation is for one lift truck, hand truck, NSN 7H-3920-011527179, TDP VER 055, IAW REF NR 5167104. The quantity is 1 EA, to be delivered to W25G1U, W1A8 DLA DISTRIBUTION, NEW CUMBERLAND, PA 17070-5002. The approved source of supply is Deval Corporation, Cage Code 11201. The government has determined it is uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data needed to contract repair of this part from additional sources, nor is it economical to reverse engineer the part. Based on market research, the government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. However, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Information regarding obtaining specifications and standards is provided, with options to download from ASSIST-Online or order from DODSSP. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements within 45 days of publication. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
