CSAH 96 Improvement Project: Engineering and Design Services

Washington County Public Works is soliciting proposals for comprehensive services related to the County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 96 (Dellwood Road) Improvement Project. The scope of work includes project coordination, preliminary engineering, final design, stakeholder and public engagement, utility coordination, and environmental documentation. This project aims to improve safety, mobility, and pavement conditions along the CSAH 96 corridor, which extends approximately nine miles and functions as a two-lane, rural undivided roadway. The anticipated project schedule includes preliminary design in 2026, final design and right-of-way acquisition in 2027, and construction in 2028. The selected consultant will be responsible for developing construction documents that meet all state aid, county, and local requirements, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget, and minimizing public inconvenience and environmental impact. Deliverables will include final cost participation layouts, draft and final plans, special provisions, engineer's estimates, and electronic design files.
