The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Division of Applied Regulatory Science (DARS) requires a contractor to supply liquid nitrogen and carbon dioxide to support laboratory operations. These gases are critical for storing biological samples in cryogenic dewars and for the operation of essential laboratory equipment, including cell culture incubators. The contract will include a base period and three option periods, totaling up to four years. Deliveries will be coordinated by phone at least two business days in advance and will occur Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time, excluding Federal holidays. The contractor will be responsible for delivering tanks to the designated location, connecting them to appropriate dewars, ensuring all connections are secure and leak-free, and removing empty cylinders upon delivery. All delivered tanks must be equipped with a functional digital gauge, be filled to at least 90% capacity, and be free from damage or leaks.
