Cane Island 2 Turbine Major and Minor Inspections

The Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) is soliciting proposals for comprehensive inspection services for their Cane Island 2 power generation facility, located at 6075 Old Tampa Highway, Intercession City, Florida. This includes a major inspection of the GE Frame 7EA combustion turbine and a minor inspection of the GE A200 steam turbine. Additionally, minor inspections are required for the associated GE model 7A6 combustion turbine generator and GE model 5A6 steam turbine generator. The scope of work for the combustion turbine major inspection involves disassembly, cleaning, inspection, non-destructive examination, and reassembly of various components. The steam turbine minor inspection includes pre-shutdown checks, disassembly, inspection and NDE of valves, bearing inspection, and reassembly. Generator inspections will involve disassembly, cleaning, visual inspection, and electrical testing. Proposals must demonstrate proven experience with GE Frame 7EA combustion turbine major inspections and relevant turbine/generator components. Key personnel qualifications, safety records, and a detailed schedule are also required. FMPA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
