]ROADWAY OPERATIONAL IMPROVEMENTS
This solicitation is for roadway operational improvements located at 0.240 Mi. E. Rte. 639 in Spotsylvania. The project involves a comprehensive range of construction activities, including clearing and grubbing, installation of various sizes of storm sewer pipes and end sections, concrete pipe work, drop inlets, manholes, and specialized structures like rock check dams. It also includes regular excavation, erosion control measures such as siltation control, temporary silt fences, and hydraulic erosion control products, as well as embankment work and aggregate base material. The scope of work further encompasses asphalt concrete paving of different types and thicknesses, rumble strips, saw-cut asphalt concrete, and the installation and removal of curb and median strips. Pavement marking services, including standard and class I/II lines, inlaid pavement markers, and pavement symbols, are also a significant component.
