Multi-Site HVAC Upgrades, Phase 2

Eugene School District 4J is soliciting bids for the Multi-Site HVAC Upgrades, Phase 2 project. This project involves the installation of new split system direct expansion heat pump systems at five different district schools. The scope of work includes providing all necessary equipment, refrigerant piping, control/signal wiring, and condensate drainage systems. Additionally, electrical upgrades such as wiring and circuit installation to support the new heat pumps will be required, along with roofing modifications and architectural finish repairs and alterations. Testing and commissioning of the new systems are also part of the project. The School District will separately procure the associated building automation controls. Bidding documents are available electronically starting April 13, 2026, via the district's hyperlink: http://www.4j.lane.edu./bids/. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the district Facilities Services, 715 West Fourth Avenue, Eugene, OR 97402. Bids must be submitted electronically via email to CIP@4j.lane.edu by Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time. A bid security in the form of a Surety Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check, for at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, is required. The original bid security must be mailed and postmarked within 3 days after the bid due date to Facilities Management, Attention CIP, 715 West 4th Avenue, Eugene, Oregon 97402. Contractors and subcontractors on projects $100,000 or greater must have a public works bond.
