Emergency Stormwater and Sanitary Sewer Repair Projects

The City of Independence, Missouri is soliciting bids for emergency stormwater and sanitary sewer repairs at various locations throughout the city. The project includes installation of new storm sewer, repair of concrete inverts, headwalls, and box culverts, channel restoration, and reconnection of sanitary service laterals. Associated work may include utility relocation, demolition, excavation, embankment, grading, street, curb, and driveway repair, erosion control, and landscape work. Bids must be submitted online via www.publicpurchase.com by the bid opening date and time. Paper, fax, or email responses will not be accepted. This bid is restricted to contractors who have been awarded the Johnson County, Kansas Wastewater Cooperative Agreement EM. These contractors will need to request prequalification on Public Purchase.
