Request for Proposal - Sealed-18607
]lutron distributor for lighting project
The University of Iowa is seeking proposals for a qualified supplier to upgrade the existing Lutron GRAFIK 7000 lighting control system to the Lutron Athena lighting control system at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. The current system is approaching obsolescence and presents increasing risks related to reliability, supportability, and network compliance. The selected supplier will be responsible for providing and installing the Lutron Athena software, processors, and associated field devices. This upgrade is expected to reuse existing proprietary cabling and legacy relay panels, significantly reducing installation costs. The scope of work includes the supply and installation of specific Lutron components such as the QP5-4L-POE Athena processor panel, UA-CS-LX devices for legacy panel integration, EX-SWCIR for reprogramming existing circuits, LUT-ELI-3PH emergency lighting interfaces, PP-DV power packs, QSE-IO interface devices, and QSWS2-2BN-WH-G wallstations. The proposal must also include pricing for pre-construction site visits by a Lutron Field Engineer to gather information for the design and implementation of the upgrade. The University requires detailed information on warranties for both products and services, significant experience as a Lutron distributor with educational institutions, government agencies, and large private-sector organizations, and a description of value-added opportunities.
