Building Automation System and Temperature Control Upgrades

Sarpy County is initiating Phase 1 of its Temperature Control Upgrades project, which includes the replacement of temperature control systems and the installation of a building automation system (BAS) overlay for three of its eleven buildings. The scope of services involves removing existing temperature control systems, installing new ones, programming them, participating in commissioning, and performing testing, adjusting, and balancing of select equipment. Miscellaneous electrical work and general construction to accommodate the system replacements are also included. The project aims to integrate these three buildings into a central BAS, with future phases planned for the remaining eight buildings. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled, and contractors must attend to be eligible to bid. The County has contracted with Morrissey Engineering, Inc. for the design specifications and drawings.
