Public Transit Equipment and Vehicle Purchase Notification

River Cities Public Transit, operating under the Department of Transportation Capital Assistance Grant Programs (5310-5339) for Rural Public and/or Special Transportation and Community Coordinated Transportation Systems, has announced its intent to purchase various equipment and vehicles. The requested items include funding for a building project, computers, vehicle hardware, cameras, replacement vehicles, and improvements. Interested public or private transit or paratransit operators within the service area are invited to provide comments on this proposal. Written notices and comments should be submitted to River Cities Public Transit and/or the South Dakota Department of Transportation, ATTN: Office of Air, Rail, and Transit, 700 East Broadway Ave., Pierre, South Dakota 57501-2586. The deadline for submitting comments is thirty (30) days following the appearance of this notice.
