Embroidery Thread and Material Supply

The Rhode Island Department of Corrections (RIDOC) is looking for a vendor to supply and deliver a variety of embroidery threads and materials to support its embroidery shop, operated by Rhode Island Correctional Industries (RICI). RICI provides vocational training and employment opportunities for incarcerated individuals while producing customized embroidered items for state agencies and institutions. This request includes a wide range of materials such as polyester, rayon, cotton, metallic, fire-resistant, UV-reactive, and specialty-effect threads, along with thread support materials like pre-wound bobbins and cones, thread management supplies, various embroidery needles, backing and cutting tools, and miscellaneous items like color charts and lubricants. The state intends to award one or multiple fixed-term contracts based on the overall highest percentage discount offered in each category, with delivery required within 40 days of order placement.
