Beale AFB Atrium Shade Canopy Replacement

The 9th Communications Squadron at Beale Air Force Base requires the removal and replacement of five exterior shade canopies. The existing canopies have exceeded their service life and no longer meet safety or appearance standards. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services for fabrication, delivery, and installation of new canopies. The new canopies must be made of commercial-grade, fire-resistant shade cloth and match the existing aesthetic with two red, one blue, and two yellow shades. The approximate dimensions for the red shades are 21x20 ft, the blue shade is 23x23 ft, and the overall atrium coverage is approximately 43x43 ft. Prior to ordering materials, the contractor must conduct a site visit to verify measurements and assess the condition of existing mounting hardware. Disposal of the old canopies is the contractor's responsibility. All work must comply with applicable safety, structural, and installation standards. Delivery and installation are expected to be completed by September 30, 2026.
