MassLynx Acquisition PC and Upgrade Kit

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue a sole source award to Waters Technology Corporation for MassLynx Acquisition PC, a Clinical Window 11 upgrade kit, and service. This purchase order will cover the equipment and half a day of installation service. The Iowa City VA currently uses Waters Corporation LCMS instruments for drug confirmation testing, which are critical for patient care nationwide. These instruments require MassLynx software to operate, which is installed on a Waters Corporation computer. The current operating system is Windows 7, which is no longer supported and is not permitted on the VA network. The required MassLynx Acquisition PC must meet specific hardware configurations, including a tower mechanical design, P510 motherboard with TPM enabled, Intel Xeon E5-1630 v4 processor, 64 GB RAM, NVIDIA K620 video adapter, integrated audio, and a specific storage configuration with SSD and HDD drives, as well as a Lenovo DVD+RW optical drive.
