Trailridge Drive and Foliage Drive Water, Wastewater & Paving Improvements

The City of Garland is requesting bids for the removal and replacement of existing water and wastewater sewer mains with 8" PVC pipe, and the replacement of full street pavement along Trailridge Drive and Foliage Drive. The project includes work on Trailridge Drive from University Drive to Independence Drive, and on Foliage Drive from Clover Lane to Nettle Drive. The scope of work involves excavation, pipe installation, backfilling, and pavement replacement. Specific tasks include installing 6" and 8" PVC water pipes, 6" and 8" PVC wastewater pipes, water services, gate valves, fire hydrants, and wastewater manholes. Paving work includes removal and replacement of concrete pavement, subgrade preparation, and potential lime or cement stabilization of the subgrade. Key requirements include a 5% bid bond, and upon award, a performance, payment, and a 2-year maintenance bond.
