Construction Trades Building New Construction

Battle Ground School District #119 is soliciting bids for the new construction of an 8,100 square foot wood-framed building to serve as a Construction Trades Building on the Battle Ground High School campus. The building will include classrooms, shops, and support areas for construction trades vocational training. Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. on June 2, 2026, and will be opened shortly thereafter. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond for at least five percent (5%) of the base bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bond, including Washington State sales tax, from a surety company acceptable to the Owner. The District reserves the right to accept the lowest responsive bid, waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and may reject bids that exceed available funds. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 60 days after opening. A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for May 18, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the proposed building site. Attendance is encouraged but not required. Bid documents will be available by May 13, 2026, from the Southwest Washington Contractors Association and J-2 Blue Print Supply Company.
