Lindsay Substation Power Transformer

The Lindsay Public Works Authority is soliciting bids for one three-phase, three-winding, 60 Hertz, ONAN/ONOF/ONAF, outdoor power transformer. The transformer will be a 12/16/20 MVA unit with a voltage rating of 138 kV for the high voltage side and 12.47Y/7.2 kV for the low voltage side. It will feature a 5-step de-energized tap changer (DETC) and a 32-step load tap changer (LTC) with a plus and minus ten percent change of the low voltage. The specifications detail requirements for the transformer's core and coil assembly, insulation, tank, cooling equipment, control cabinet, and grounding.
