The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the demilitarization, recycling, reuse, treatment, and disposal of various conventional ammunition families. The RFP will include multiple Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) Groups, covering items such as 30mm Depleted Uranium (DU) Cartridges, Improved Conventional Munitions (ICM), 20mm Cartridges, Hexachloroethane (HC) Smoke Munitions, Flares, and Rocket Motors from Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS). CLIN Groups 1, 3, and 6 are being solicited as single awards, while CLIN Groups 2, 4, and 5 are being solicited as multi-awards. The awards will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), five-year supply contracts, utilizing best value trade-off processes. The contracts will cover Fiscal Years 2027 through 2031, with a Minimum Guaranteed Quantity (MGQ) awarded concurrently with each contract. The maximum total quantity the U.S. Government is entitled to order across all IDIQ awards is specified for each CLIN Group. Amendments have extended the proposal submission date to May 21, 2026, and incorporated updated information regarding CMMC compliance and price evaluation spreadsheets.
