Mezzanine Repair and Steel Beam Installation at Pease ANG Base

This solicitation is for the repair and installation of structural steel components for the mechanical mezzanine at Building 254, Pease Air National Guard Base. The existing equipment, including a circulator pump and hydro-pneumatic tank, exceeds the design capacity of the mezzanine slab. To address this, three new C-channel steel beams will be installed and welded to the existing Wide Flange beams beneath the equipment slab to reduce stress. The work includes providing all necessary materials, equipment, and labor for fabrication and installation. The contractor will be responsible for determining exact locations, validating measurements, preparing surfaces for welding, ensuring proper fitment, and coating all installed surfaces to match existing conditions. All work must conform to AWS D1.1:2025 standards. A hot work permit from the Pease Fire Department will be required, and the contractor must submit documentation for base access and badging within 10 days of contract award. The project work hours are typically 0600-1530, Monday through Friday, with exceptions requiring prior written approval.
