University System of Georgia Campus Recovery and Support Services

The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for systemwide campus recovery and support services. This includes a broad range of services such as mold remediation, complete emergency repairs, water mitigation and repair, debris removal (including hazardous materials), storm strengthening of facilities, temporary power provision, and post-emergency facility evaluations. The selected contractor(s) will be responsible for assembling and managing a workforce capable of completing emergency repairs, mitigation, and post-disaster operations. Services are to be available 24/7, with a commitment to mobilize within 24 hours of notification for emergency events. The scope also encompasses debris processing, including the operation of temporary debris staging and reduction sites (TDSRS), and lawful disposal of all debris. The contract will also cover the removal and disposal of household hazardous waste, dead animals, and abandoned vehicles. Offerors must demonstrate experience with site management and FEMA requirements, and be capable of working with various accounting and tracking systems. The contract will be awarded based on a combination of technical and cost factors, with the potential for negotiations. The initial contract term will be from the date of award until the end of the state's fiscal year, with four one-year options to renew.
