This solicitation is for the Cedar Rapids Flood Risk Management Project, Reach 1, South Railyard Floodwall. The project scope includes demolition, temporary traffic control, clearing, grubbing, sheet pile installation, embankment construction, H-pile concrete floodwalls, interior drainage systems, roadway grade raises, water main installation, site restoration, and bedding stone and riprap placement. All contractor access will be by barge. The estimated project range is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000, with a completion time of 700 consecutive calendar days for the base bid. A pre-bid meeting will be held on May 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST at the project site. Questions regarding the solicitation are due by June 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST.
