Fire Suppression System Inspection and Repair Services

ACC-ANAD is seeking qualified contractors to provide semi-annual inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair services for various fire suppression systems located at Anniston Army Depot (ANAD). The systems covered include Clean Agent systems (FM-200/HFC-227), Carbon Dioxide (CO2) systems, and Kitchen Hood fire extinguishing systems. The contract is structured with one base year and four option years. Contractors will be responsible for ensuring all work complies with relevant National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, including NFPA 12, 17A, 72, 96, and 2001, as well as manufacturer guidance. This includes functional testing of detection, alarm, and releasing devices, visual inspection of system components, verification of cylinder status, simulation of discharge circuits, and ensuring alarm transmission. Technicians must possess NICET certification and experience with specific system manufacturers such as Fike, Ansul, Notifier, and Pyro-Chem. Remediation and emergency repair services will also be required, with specific procedures and approval processes outlined for parts exceeding $500 and for emergency response within 24 hours.
