On-Call Transportation Engineering Services

Lincoln County, North Carolina is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for on-call transportation engineering services. The selected firm(s) will be responsible for preparing Traffic Impact Analyses (TIAs) and providing other related traffic engineering support as needed by the County. Services will encompass pre-scoping and coordination, data collection and analysis, capacity and operations analysis, and reporting and deliverables. The scope includes reviewing pre-application documentation, attending scoping meetings, performing traffic data collection, analyzing traffic forecasts, calculating trip generation, assessing capacity and operations, and preparing comprehensive TIA reports. All work products will become the property of Lincoln County. Firms must be properly registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State and the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors. Submissions should include a letter of interest, firm overview and relevant experience, project team details, technical approach and methodology, references, and a conflict of interest disclosure. The initial contract term is three years, with potential for two one-year renewals, for a maximum of five years.
