The NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY) Health Care Facility requires X-ray services with interpretations for its pre-employment screening program. This program evaluates candidates for the Sanitation Worker position, requiring objective medical evidence, including X-rays, to determine if candidates meet the necessary qualifications. The contractor must possess a current Certificate of Registration from the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene for radiation-producing equipment, employ licensed radiologic technologists, and have at least five years of experience in X-ray services. Facilities must be accredited by Radsite or the American College of Radiology. Services include Chest X-rays and Lumbar Sacral Spine X-rays with interpretations, with a requirement for timely turnaround and secure internet access to images for DSNY. The contract term is for five years with an option for a three-year renewal. Approximately 1,200 candidates per year are expected to require these services.
