Emergency Watershed Protection Design-Build Services

The Wilkes Soil & Water Conservation District is requesting qualifications from Design-Build Firms for Engineering, Consulting, Design, and Construction/Contractor Services for Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) projects. These projects are approved by the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the Wilkes Soil & Water Conservation District Board. The work will be performed at two sites in Wilkes County, NC: Site 4501-001 involves streambank and shoreline protection on Mulberry Creek, and Site 4502-002 involves similar work on the Yadkin River. The scope of services includes Phase I: Engineering & Design (survey, design development, regulatory support, quality assurance planning, and O&M planning), Phase II: Construction (implementation, safety compliance, and cultural resource protection), and Phase III: Check-Out (as-built drawings). All engineering documents must be sealed by a North Carolina Registered Professional Engineer (PE). The total project must be completed within 12 months of award.
