Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority Maintenance
The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA), also known as Cincinnati Metro, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide maintenance and repair services for its on-bus video surveillance, camera systems, and Wi-Fi for a term of five years. These systems are crucial for ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality transit operations. The scope of work includes preventive maintenance, repair services, and software/firmware updates for all components of SORTA's video surveillance, camera systems, and Wi-Fi. The vendor must be able to provide 24-hour service if necessary and be on-site for repairs at SORTA's facilities located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The contract requires at least five years of experience with similar repairs on similar equipment. SORTA operates approximately 300 transit buses, 60 paratransit vehicles, 46 micro-transit vehicles, and 16 non-revenue supervisor vehicles, all equipped with Luminator or IDIS cameras, DVRs, and Cradle Point wireless routers. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the e-Procurement portal by June 19, 2026. The evaluation will be based on project approach, firm and staffing qualifications, and price.
