Repair and Restoration of Artwork

The City of Cambridge is soliciting bids for the repair and restoration of a specific artwork. The project involves de-installing the artwork, removing old paint via blasting, rearranging some letters, color matching the original 8 colors, and repainting all components with a specified paint system. The artwork will then be re-mounted at its original site. The scope of work details the specific paint and primer systems to be used, including Awlgrip Max Cor CF Primer, Awlgrip 545 Epoxy Primer, Awlfair Fast, and Awlgrip polyester urethane topcoat. The artwork consists of 165 aluminum letters attached to aluminum backing panels.
