USS Wichita (LCS 13) FY27 Docking Selected Restricted Availability

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is conducting market research to identify industry capability and interest for the FY27 Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA) of the USS WICHITA (LCS 13). This is a sources sought announcement in anticipation of a potential future procurement program. The anticipated availability period is from March 2027 to October 2027, with a potential RFP release in the third quarter of 2026. The contract will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) type. Key anticipated work includes waterjet and shaft assembly change-outs, hull and superstructure preservation and painting, engine replacements, structural welding and fabrication, ship alterations, tank preservation and repairs, and support for AIT integration and material management. Compliance with LCS-1 variant aluminum welding requirements is also expected. Interested companies are requested to submit a letter of interest detailing their company information, points of contact, business size, and experience with similar US Navy work, including dry dock and pier space capabilities, and any potential conflicts with other repair commitments.
