Goat Browsing for Weed and Wildfire Mitigation

Boulder County Parks and Open Space (BCPOS) is seeking a vendor to provide goat browsing services for a trial pilot program. The program aims to assess the effectiveness of goat browsing for general weed control, wildfire mitigation, and controlling weeds in revegetation/restoration areas. Some of the wildfire mitigation browsing will take place within irrigation ditch corridors, requiring certain areas to be browsed twice during the growing season. All browsing activities will occur on BCPOS-owned properties and will help fulfill requirements of the Integrated Weed Management Plan. The contract will have a 100-day limit.
