Engineering and Permitting Services for PMOD Bike and Pedestrian Path Design

The Town of Maynard, Massachusetts is soliciting qualifications from designers for the Powder Mill Overlay District (PMOD) Bike and Pedestrian Path Design project. This project aims to improve mobility by adding pedestrian and bicycle paths along a one-mile section of Powder Mill Road (MA Route 62). The scope of work includes technical studies, preparation of highway design elements, assistance with permitting, and meeting attendance on behalf of the Town. The maximum contract fee is $558,500.00, with all expenses to be incurred by June 30, 2027. Submissions are due by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Town Administrator's Office, Maynard Town Hall, 195 Main Street, Maynard, MA 01754. Both a physical and electronic copy are required. Questions regarding the RFQ must be submitted in writing by Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. A contract award, if made, will be based on negotiated pricing after initial evaluation of finalists and will include payments for phased milestone deliverables.
