Solar PV System Inspection and Maintenance

Baltimore County, Maryland is seeking an on-call contractor to provide inspection and maintenance services for its existing and future portfolio of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The county currently has three operational sites with PV systems and plans to add eight more in the near future. The scope of work includes biannual inspections and annual maintenance for the PV systems. Inspections will involve investigating monitoring data, removing shading debris, checking for animal infestation, inspecting modules for damage, verifying conduit integrity, and visually inspecting electrical cabinets. Maintenance will include more rigorous tasks such as cleaning modules, testing electrical connections, performing I-V curve tests, and verifying system grounding. The contract will be for one year with four additional one-year renewal options. Bids are to be submitted electronically through the Procurement Portal by 3:00 pm on Friday, June 12, 2026.
