Illinois Power Agency Renewable Energy Credit (REC) RFP

The Illinois Power Agency (IPA) is seeking Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) to meet the requirements specified in the Illinois Power Agency Act for the June 2016 through May 2017 delivery year. RECs must be purchased from resources located within Illinois and adjoining states, provided they can be acquired within certain spending limits. Otherwise, RECs may be acquired from resources located in other states. All acquired RECs must be priced below certain benchmarks. This notice announces the names of the successful bidders and the average winning bid price for each contract type.
