Elevator and Platform Lift Consulting, Testing, and Inspection Services

Hillsborough County Public Schools is soliciting quotes for comprehensive elevator and platform lift consulting, testing, and inspection services. This contract aims to ensure all school district elevator equipment is maintained in a safe and code-compliant condition. The scope of work includes performing periodic inspections and witnessing tests in accordance with relevant codes such as ASME A17.1 and A18.1. Services encompass detailed assessments of elevators, machine rooms, hoist-ways, landings, and cars, as well as platform and portable lifts. The contractor will be responsible for identifying and reporting deficiencies, providing daily reports, and maintaining electronic records of all data. Consulting services will also be provided for code compliance, modernization projects, and accident investigations. The contract is for a one-time purchase with a tentative start date of September 14, 2020, and an end date of September 13, 2021. Renewals for two additional one-year periods are available, subject to terms and conditions. The estimated budget for this contract is approximately $25,000.00 for the initial one-year period.
