Management and Lease of Mayhill Community Center

Otero County is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the management and operation of the Mayhill Community Center, located at 15 Civic Center, Mayhill, New Mexico. The selected proposer will be responsible for enhancing public offerings to meet the community's needs, including serving meals to seniors two days a week. The contract will be for one year with the option to renew for up to three additional years. The Mayhill Community Center is a 2,400 square foot single-story building with an open area, kitchen, and two restrooms, plus a 400 square foot detached storage building. The operator will be responsible for routine maintenance and all utility costs, including electricity, water, sewer, gas, trash, and internet services. The County will be responsible for structural maintenance and septic tank inspections. The operator must provide their own office equipment, custodial services, cleaning supplies, pest control, and security. Proposals must be submitted in writing by Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 2:00 PM Mountain Time. Bids must be sealed and clearly labeled with the bidder's name, proposal number, and opening date. No electronic submissions will be accepted.
