Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS) for Durango-La Plata County Airport
City of Durango
The City of Durango is soliciting proposals for a Parking Access and Revenue Control System (PARCS) for the Durango-La Plata County Airport. This project aims to modernize the airport's parking technology by replacing and servicing the existing PARCS equipment. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing a comprehensive solution including equipment, installation, training, configuration, integrations, software modules, and ongoing support. The goal is to enhance customer experience, increase system reliability, and reduce maintenance needs. The scope of work includes the supply and installation of lane equipment such as entry and exit stations with ticket dispensers, payment card readers, barcode readers, proximity card readers, intercoms with cameras, barrier gates, LPR cameras, and lane control signs. Additional equipment includes pay-on-foot stations, server systems (if required), and other specified components. The project also encompasses the removal of the existing PARCS system. Key project milestones include the initial publication on January 7, 2026, a non-mandatory pre-bid conference on January 22, 2026, questions due by January 29, 2026, and the proposal due date on February 26, 2026. The City of Durango is procuring this system through the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System.
