Bay East Iron and Manganese Treatment Project
PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT No. 1 OF MASON COUNTY, WA
Mason County Public Utility District No. 1 is soliciting bids for the Bay East Iron and Manganese Treatment project. The scope of work includes site preparation such as clearing trees and vegetation, constructing a 257 square foot wood filtration building, building an infiltration pond, installing a pyrolusite filtration system, site piping, electrical work, and general site improvements. Additionally, there is an additive schedule for installing fencing and gates around the well house and new treatment building, as well as replacing the wellhouse roof. The project must be completed within 100 working days after the commencement date. Bidders must be registered and active on Sam.gov and comply with Washington State prevailing wage and federal Davis Bacon wage rates. Financing for the project is provided by the Washington State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program with federal funds from the EPA, requiring compliance with DWSRF provisions.
