Description

This project involves the removal of an existing 38-foot long metal sheet pile water control structure and the installation of a new one. The new structure will include 22 pieces of SKL-12 sheet piling, 10 feet long each, with galvanized steel components. The installation will also involve pile caps, stop log channels, and backfilling with rock on both sides of the piling. Stop logs will be made of aluminum and will require specific fabrication for locking bars. The project is located at Dunbar Slough WMA in Greene County, Iowa. Bids are due electronically by June 11, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
