Canine Kenneling and Veterinary Services

This solicitation is for canine kenneling and veterinary services required on a daily, as-needed basis within twenty (20) miles of the Charleston Area Port in Charleston, SC. The services will support the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Canine Enforcement Program. The current requirement is for one dog, but this number may fluctuate. The contract will be a single-award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a five-year service period. This procurement is a total set-aside for small businesses under NAICS code 812910. Key requirements include 24/7 access to kennels, secure and clean facilities, appropriate canine housing and runs, daily sanitation, and provision of food. Veterinary services will also be required, including routine exams, vaccinations, emergency care, and diagnostic tests. The contractor must have licensed veterinarians and a plan for handling emergencies, including transport to a pre-designated veterinarian if necessary. The total purchase limitation for the BPA is $350,000.00.
