Sole Source Software Upgrade for Philips Cardiovascular Equipment

This notice is an intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Philips Healthcare America LLC for a software upgrade of the Philips Intellispace Cardiovascular equipment. This equipment is currently in use by the VA Saint Cloud Health Care System. As the equipment is an FDA 510K listed system, only the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) can modify or update it. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334517 and the product service code is 6525. While this is not a request for competitive quotes, interested vendors may identify their interest and capability. Vendors must provide proof of certification from Philips Healthcare America LLC authorizing them to provide third-party upgrades for this equipment that conform to the FDA 510K listing. Any responsible sources that believe they can meet the government's requirements may submit a capability statement in writing to curt.larose@va.gov within ten calendar days after publication. This documentation will be reviewed solely to determine if the procurement should be conducted competitively.
