Electrical Contractor Services for Data Drops and Aiphones at Hines VA Hospital

This is a Sources Sought Notice for informational and planning purposes only, seeking contractors capable of performing electrical work at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital. The scope of work includes installing five new Cat6 data drops, removing existing communication wires, and installing new Government Furnished Equipment Aiphones and support accessories. The work will be performed in the Emergency Department (ED) and may require off-hours work (7:00 PM - 5:00 AM, Monday - Friday) for data drops and wire removal. The entire contract duration, including pre-construction and close-out, is expected to be thirty (30) days, with onsite work not exceeding four (4) days. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment, and must adhere to strict infection control protocols and obtain necessary certifications, including OSHA certification for all personnel and a site superintendent. A pre-quote site visit is encouraged. The contractor must also manage a contractor badging process for all personnel requiring PIV badges.
