As-Needed Inspector of Record and Facility Condition Assessment Consulting Services

The County of San Diego, Department of General Services, is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms interested in providing As-Needed Inspector of Record (IOR) and Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) Consulting Services. The anticipated contract term is an initial three-year period with one one-year option, with a total contract value not to exceed $5,000,000 over five years ($1,000,000 per year). The scope of services includes performing inspections of construction-related systems, ensuring compliance with codes, and conducting facility condition assessments. This includes evaluating buildings, property, systems, and major components, providing reports on remaining useful life, listing deficiencies, and offering prioritized repair/replacement schedules with budget-level cost estimates. The services will be performed on an as-needed basis through task orders.
