Fencing and Gate Automation Installation and Maintenance Services

The State of Georgia, on behalf of the Department of Watershed Management, is initiating a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process for Fence Maintenance Services at various Department of Watershed Facilities. This procurement will include an initial prequalification phase followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The scope of services encompasses five components: Component A involves the installation of new fences and gates, Component B covers the complete care and maintenance repair guarantee for all fences and gates, Component C is the installation of new gate automators, Component D includes the complete care and maintenance repair guarantee for all gate automators, and Component E provides for emergency services, requiring 24/7 availability and response within 24 hours for repairs. Vendors must demonstrate experience in furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, tools, transportation, staff, and materials in compliance with applicable city and state regulations. The selected vendor will be responsible for ensuring proper business licensing, insurance, and that all materials and work meet federal health and safety laws. The contract is expected to have an effective period of 36 months with an option for the State to renew for an additional 24 months. A Pre-Proposal Conference will be scheduled to provide further details and address vendor questions.
