Nature Playground Construction at Dorris Ranch

Willamalane Park and Recreation District (WPRD) is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of a nature playground at Dorris Ranch, a special use park in Springfield, Oregon. The project scope includes site clearing, earthwork, erosion control, concrete and gravel paving, installation of custom play features and pre-manufactured play equipment, and landscaping. The estimated cost for the site work is approximately $200,000, excluding owner-purchased items and bid alternates. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for May 14th, 2026, at 2:30 pm at Dorris Ranch. Construction is expected to commence on July 20th, 2026, with final completion by October 23rd, 2026. Solicitation documents are available from May 6th, 2026, to May 27th, 2026, and can be viewed and downloaded from http://willamalane.org/projects/rfp or in person at the Bob Keefer Center. Bidders must confirm their download of solicitation documents by emailing simond@willamalane.org. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Bob Keefer Center, 250 S. 32nd Street, Springfield, Oregon, by 2:00 pm Pacific Time on May 27th, 2026. Bids will be opened publicly at the same location at 2:05 pm. Offers must be irrevocable for 60 days. The contract is subject to Oregon Revised Statutes and the Davis-Bacon Act.
