2026 Tar & Chip Paving Project

Heidelberg Township, York County, Pennsylvania is soliciting proposals for a tar and chip paving project. The project involves providing all necessary equipment, labor, and installation of approximately 22,317 square yards of Tar & Double Chip. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and placing bituminous seal coat according to PennDOT Publication 447, Section MS-0340-0005, and asphalt fog seal for asphalt sealcoat as per PennDOT Publication 408, Section 472. The contract is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, will be required from the successful bidder.
