Avionics and Interior Upgrades for Citation Excel Aircraft

Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University is soliciting proposals for a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility to perform comprehensive avionics and interior upgrades on a Citation Excel aircraft (N51VT). The scope of work includes the complete removal and installation of a new Garmin G5000 Avionic Suite, along with associated systems and components. Additionally, the selected MRO facility will refurbish the cockpit and cabin interior, including seats, carpets, headliners, and air stairs, concurrently with the avionics work to minimize aircraft downtime. The awarded facility must be located within a one-day driving distance of Virginia Tech. Proposals must be submitted electronically through Virginia Tech's procurement portal hosted by Jaggaer.
