IT Support Services for Indian Health Service Great Plains Area Office

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for IT support services for their Great Plains Area Office in Aberdeen, South Dakota. This is a Sources Sought notice to determine the availability of Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) capable of providing these services. The anticipated NAICS code is 541512 (Computer Systems Design Services). The scope of work includes comprehensive IT support for both Enterprise Cisco Unified Communications (UC) and Collaboration Systems, as well as Resource Patient Management System (RPMS)/Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems. Services will encompass engineering, system administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, modernization, and Tier 2/Tier 3 support for these critical systems across all Great Plains Area facilities. Key responsibilities for Cisco UC support include ensuring stable operations, providing Tier 3 engineering support, system optimization, configuration and lifecycle management, security and compliance, and reporting. Specific tasks include migrating Billings into the GPA Calling Cluster. For RPMS/EHR systems, the contractor will ensure reliable operation, maintain 99% system uptime, provide Tier 2 support and coordinate Tier 3 escalations, and manage patching, backups, and issue resolution across Windows and AIX environments.
