Enclosed Trailers with Modifications

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is seeking information on the availability of sources for enclosed trailers. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes, not a solicitation. Vendors interested in providing enclosed trailers with modifications are requested to submit a capabilities statement. The required trailers are 6x10 foot and 6x10 foot tandem axle enclosed trailers, with options for white or black exterior colors. Key specifications include a 10' body length with an extended V-front enclosure, 6' body width, double rear doors with locking systems, a curbside entry door, A-frame steel main rails with cross members, a 2000-pound side crank jack, heavy-duty rear corner post jacks, a 2 5/16" hitch ball coupler, and DOT-compliant safety chains. The chassis must be fully undercoated. Interior features include a 6' ceiling height, 3/4" DryMax decking, chemical-resistant polyurethane spray liner on the floor and lower sidewalls, and horizontal "E" track on roadside and curbside walls. Lighting includes interior LED strip lights and exterior warning lights, along with a Traffic Advisor system. The exterior is to be .030 prefinished smooth aluminum with smooth aluminum fenders, an exterior spare tire mount, and a 16" high aluminum tread plate stone guard on the front. Ventilation includes upper exterior flow-thru side wall vents. The electrical system is a SAE color-coded 12-volt system with a DOT-required LED exterior lighting package and a seven-blade trailer end connector.
