Description

The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking a contractor for the firm-fixed-price construction contract to replace twenty-three damaged, missing, and misaligned fiberglass beach security bollards at Padre Island National Seashore. The new bollards will match the existing dimensions and material, requiring installation by burying them at least 8 feet deep using hydro jetting with adjacent saltwater sources. Additionally, ten "Authorized Vehicles Only Beyond this Point" placards will be installed. The period of performance is 60 calendar days, anticipated to begin in late June or early July 2026.
