2026 or Newer Four-Wheel Drive One-Half Ton Extended Cab Pickup Truck

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury is seeking bids for one (1) 2026 or newer four-wheel drive one-half ton extended cab pickup truck for use by the Division of Engineering & Public Works. The truck must be an extended cab with a short wheelbase and a minimum 6-foot bed with a spray-in bedliner. Key specifications include a minimum 5.0L V-8 gasoline flex-fuel engine, a 10-speed automatic transmission, a minimum GVWR of 6,900 pounds, and a 3.15 rear axle ratio. The vehicle must be painted Red Non-Metallic with Clear Coat and have a minimum 23-gallon fuel tank. It should come equipped with a factory-installed towing package, power 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, power assist steering, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Standard accessories include a backup camera, hands-free mobile phone capability, remote keyless entry, and a full instrumentation cluster. The truck must also include pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking and blind-spot detection. The awarded bidder must provide standard manufacturer warranties, and all warranty work must be performed by an authorized dealer within Calcasieu Parish. If the authorized repair center is outside the parish, the bidder must reimburse the Police Jury for mileage driven for warranty work.
